First Day Of My College (02-08-2016)
After so many years of hard work and with a dream in my eyes i enter my college HBTI kanpur.
Basically its image is as good as some NIT's as it is the top institute in UPSEE Category , After spending several hours visiting campus me with my parents got frustated and started thinking how can i spend 4 precious years of my life here.Therefore with a sad mood we went to the orientation programme which had to be started from 3:00 pm , so we went to auditorium and since it was the time for admissions, freshers (like me) were everywhere. We (me and my parents) met a student who came from Jammu and Kashmir, his parents were frightened as j&k is far far away from U.P. , my mom gave some motivational speech and assure them that we, the localites of Uttar Pradesh will take care of him as we know the culture here,
This incident got me my first friend and I started calling him j&k, who turns out to be an interesting character later on.
So,coming back to orientation programme, As I stepped towards the auditorium (called as audi in HBTI),I met other parents and students .
The Orientation session started and teachers one by one started giving their faltu speech
that HBTI is this, HBTI is that but at that very point of time I only one thing struck to my mind- my parents and their way of struggle to provide me best facilities they can gave (obviously we were sad as i didn't get into IIT's but fortunately my elder brother studied in IIT Roorkee
and i am proud of him) (remember one thing HBTI and IIT can't be compared , you can have a guess by seeing the photos )
Once I entered HBTI, I decided to become a master coder and earn a lot of money for my family and give them the best thing i can and with this thought ,me as well as other students had completed the registration process .
Finally we were allotted our hostel named LV new hostel which consists of single ,double and triple rooms and i got the tripple one <(thanks god)>.
i met my first roommate ANURAG SINGH and then the other ROBIN SINGH
On the same day, we were called to the audi once again to complete the remaining formalities after the hostel procedure.
Soon after that I got a call from my mom stating that they were leaving as my brother got their seats reserved from kanpur to Bareilly,
I gave a smily look to my parents, my mother and father came forward to hug me before leaving me in this new world of engineering, I wanted to cry but somehow i managed by greeting them goodbye and assuring that this is the best place for my life.
After that we had a campus visit to HBTI EAST campus which is only 70 acres and therefore the visit ends soon and we were taken back to the hostel.
Then after, that night spend by introducing each other and making new friends.
The friendships we built and the enjoyment we have here leads me to the conclusion that this college, HBTI Kanpur is the best college for my life and my exposure to new things}
and all students are sad
i talk to my parents as they reach home but i didn't cry as i was here for them , {but trust me it is the best college for my life and my exposure to new things}
